Broomfield Days
If you live or work in Broomfield you know it’s more than a suburb it’s a tight-knit community of people with a rich history. That’s why every year you’ll find our company dancers in September bright and early ready to dance their way down Midway. Mini, Junior, and Company dancers also perform on the stage later that day.
Dance Across America
LiveLoveDance is a proud participant in Dance Across America. All studio dancers are welcome to participate.
To raise money for this charity we hold a dance-a-thon event at the studio. Dancers collect pledges from friends and family based on the hours of dance they plan to participate in or a flat donation amount.
This event is usually held in early spring. Last year our dancers raised $2,191!
Traveling Tutus
LiveLoveDance is proud to support Traveling Tutus through their holiday dance costume drive. Dancers can clean out those closets and donate their old dance costumes to those in need. Costumes are then sent off to children around the world so they can experience the joys of dance.
Donations are taken before the Thanksgiving holiday and costumes are sent off that week. To donate — drop your costumes off at LLD. Check each year for the specifics as some years they only accept certain costume styles.
A Precious Child Holiday Gift Tree
We know times can be tough especially during the holidays. Through A Precious Child, a local Broomfield charity, we collect new toys and gift cards for children in need in our community to ensure every child has a gift under the tree. You’ll find the tree listed with card in the LiveLoveDance lobby start in December.
Come in anytime we are open and leave your tagged gift in our big yellow bin.
Sunrise Living Center Performance
This event is exclusive to our Mini and Junior Stars and Company dancers. Every holiday season we travel to the Sunrise Living Center in Westminster to bring joy and holiday cheer to seniors through dance. Community is essential to the culture at LLD. The seniors love to see the kids perform, and the kids love performing for the Seniors. And we love hearing the Seniors reminiscing about their old dancing days.
The Gift of Dance
Live Love Dance Performing Company’s annual fundraiser. The Gift of Dance raises money for dance costumes, clothing and shoes for children in our community who are in foster care (or other children of need) and on scholarship at Live Love Dance. We have worked with: CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates, A Precious Child, Adams County Human Services and Foster Source. We will work with any local nonprofit representing children.
Everyone deserves the chance to dance! The scholarship started as one only for foster kids and has expanded a bit. Foster kids have been through so much they deserves some sense of normalcy and the ability to participate in the activities that all kids get to!
Our oldest company dancers choreograph the dances for this event. Dancers for this event include all company dancers, Mini and Junior Stars. This is a smaller performance event and typically held in May.
